Pardon my statement there-but that was more of a joke. My concern with aig is more on 2 different realms 1) what it’s affect is having on the economy and all the investments of those who “live on” and the fact that the government bail out means that technically the company has a new government majority owner taking us down an unconstitutional road of socialism with the government being the true owner of an American Company.
Luckily that’s incorrect. Anyone with an insurance policy or annuity with AIG should have nothing to worry about. Insurance is a highly regulated industry. All insurance companies doing business in the United States are regulated by state law and required to maintain enough capital and surplus to satisfy their obligations to their policy holders. You may want to read the LIFE Foundation blog and the latest entry on the subject.
Unless your insurance is with aig?
lol
I’m sorry to point this out, but there is a lot more to it. Quite a few people use it for retirement too. There is actually so much you can do.
Still, I am having you commited.
I hadn’t read this before and now, guess what?
It’s too late.
Dude…
Money is worth more than life to you???
I am personally having you commited.
Shh, no. No. I filled out the forms already. It’s gonna happen. Yer off to Happy Farm.
wow JTD19881369
You need to realize that your comment has no meaning. The reason you need life insurance is to simply protect your Human Economic Life Value… So that if you happen to die, your family will have money to live on.
She seems like a really, seriously great person. So she lost family memmbers so early on.
haha .. naw man .. im 19 and not married .. just being funny .. dont have a family .. and when i die i will be wrapped in cloth and dropped in a hole … not much to pay for there …
You’re funny, paranoid, or are in need of marriage counseling! Seriously, you remind me of an insurance concept known as “insurable interest.” Laws were enacted in the 19th century to ensure that life insurance is used by those with a relationship to the insured, such as a family member or business partner. They keep us from getting policies out on strangers for the reason you raise. The principle doesn’t apply here. Get life insurance to protect your family. Learn more @ the lifehappens website
um … so …. what if i dont want life insurance … i mean .. why give my wife a reason to kill me ?? … ya know what i mean …
awesome! insuring my ability to provide for my family is more important than insuring say my car or home! i choose not to die but if that ever happens i want to make sure that my kids won’t be regretful and ask stupid questions like, why didn’t my dad care enough to get life insurance?
do the right thing for your family! make sure you purchase term! (i have a primerica life insurance policy)
Molly gets to the heart of it, speaking for her own real-life experiences.
I can appreciate her honesty amd feel for the tragedy she experienced.
She certainly sends the point home about how important it is to protect your family’s future with life insurance.
A previous comment was accidentally removed. The question was: “Does Life Insurance Awareness Month really exist?”
It does in fact exist. Coordinated by the nonprofit LIFE Foundation every September, Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) is an industry wide event where hundreds of insurance companies and trade groups come together to get people thinking about their financial futures and protecting their loved ones. I thought this was spoof (SNL Robot insurance) but sadly no. I had no idea she and her dad were in the car at the same time of the accident. Tragic. Molly you Rock!
