Mona Sandberg, Principal at the Pembroke Village School has announced her plans to retire at the end of the 2017-18 school year.  She has been an administrator in Pembroke for 15 years. Prior to her time in Pembroke, Ms. Sandberg was an elementary school teacher in Mahwah, NJ and Hillsboro, NH where she taught for a combined thirty years in grades three through five.  Ms. Sandberg says she has loved her career and she feels fortunate to have worked with educators who have shared her enthusiasm and passion for Pembroke’s young learners.
