Three Rivers School is seeking a Spirit Team coach for the 19-20 cheer season.  We are seeking a candidate with the ability to easily work with a team of up to 16 individuals in the 6th through 8th grades.  Strong communication and organizational skills a must.  This is an after school commitment with some weekends necessary.  The Spirit Team performs at all home basketball games, which typically occur on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from December through mid-February.  The team also competes in up to two larger competitions over the season. The candidate should have the knowledge and skills necessary to teach cheers and choreograph a competition routine.  Maintaining safety when doing stunting or tumbling is of the utmost importance for this individual in their teaching style.  There is a stipend attached to this position.  For more information or if you are interested please contact Katie Gagne, Three Rivers Assistant Principal, at cgagne@sau53.org.
